July Random Favorites

The great thing about random favorites is that there is no rhyme or reason to them- so let's get started!

*Coach Factory Bag*
I wish I knew the name of this bag, because it is LOVE!  I bought it at the Coach Outlet store for only $99.  My last Coach bag was white leather and I ended up getting pen all over it and it was too pricey to get out.  So of course I had to hit up the outlet for a new one.  I like this nude neutral color and it's a material that will easily wipe clean.  It just looks so chic to me!

*Filofax Patent Pocket Organizer in Duck Blue*
A few months ago I ordered my first Filofax in the personal size.  While I quickly fell in love with it, I realized I wanted something a bit more portable and purse size so I ordered this pocket size one.  It's the perfect color for me and helps me keep track of all of my appointments and fun stuff!

*Daiso Detergent for Puff and Sponge*
I received this in my swap with Kay and it's amazing!  As you know, I have been obsessed with my Real Techniques Blending Sponge and this detergent gets it spotless!  I only need a tiny bit also.  I will definitely be repurchasing this!

*Icing Brand Necklace Stand*
This favorite is a very personal one for me.  My grandfather passed away October 25, 2000.  He bought one Christmas present in advance that year and this gold necklace was it.  I've had it displayed on a black velvet necklace stand forever, but when I saw this large stand at Icing I knew it would be perfect.  It looks beautiful displayed on my bedside table.

*Le Tote*

I have been loving the subscription service Le Tote!  It's like a few new pieces added to wardrobe every other week.  See my review of my first tote here and this Sunday I'll be posting my next tote contents. Get more info about signing up by clicking this link!

*Scola Dondo on Youtube*

Ok, I have become obsessed with this girl's fitness videos.  I'm pretty sure it's the accent and the fact that she's adorable, but I love her videos.  I find them informative and motivating.  If you need some boost in your weight loss routine, watch a few videos and you'll be jogging around the block in no time!

July Beauty Favorites

I can't believe July is almost over.  That means I only have one month left of summer vacation and this depresses me immensely!  However, I shouldn't complain as July was a great month for me.  I had a few mini trips- girls trip to AC, girls spa night, family week in Cape Cod and my family reunion in Pennsylvania.  This month saw quite a few dressing up occasions which may explain some of my favorites!

*Dalton Color Creme Lip Gloss in Lisa Lou*
I've had this lip color for a while.  I think I received it in a QVC Beauty Tube many moons ago.  I normally stay away from lip products in pots, but I reached for this one day randomly and I forgot how pretty it is.  It adds a very soft sheen to the lips and would be great to add to the middle of the lip for added fullness.  Only downside is, it is quite sticky to avoid on windy nights.

*Milani Easyliner in Espresso*
I've been looking for a chocolate brown liner for a while and this is perfection!  It glides on easily and is the perfect deep brown color.  It's nice to wear day to day as it's much softer than black.

*Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette*
Not only is this eyeshadow palette beautiful, but it smells like chocolate!  Every time I open this I'm in heaven.  The color range is great from soft neutrals, to sparkly purples and maroons.  This palette is great to travel with as it can provide a variety of looks.

*Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette*
I've had this for a while and just began fully playing around with it this month.  I'm still not sold on the highlighter, but I LOVE the color Dim Light as an all over finishing powder.  It makes my skin look amazingly radiant and I will definitely be purchasing a full size one.

Look how creamy and sparkly this color is!

My favorite is the color all the way to left.  It makes me glow with out looking sparkly.

I love the shade range in this palette!  Great for a variety of looks!

Style Sunday: Product RAVE!!!

A woman can have the best wardrobe in the world, but if she doesn't store it properly she isn't using it well!  I have a lot of clothes.  In fact, I have too many!  Yet with all of the clothes I wear, I end up wearing the same pieces over and over again.  I read that most women wear the same 20% of their wardrobe almost 80% of the time.  That's a lot of shirts, skirts, pants, etc. not being worn!

I find that if I store my dresser items in a "file like system" I see all of my shirts laid out and not just the shirt I have folded on top.  I've posted about this filing system before.

Well, I've gotten lazy and I've found myself just tossing shirts in or not folding them properly and I still just end up reaching for the same shirts day in and day out.  That's where this MIRACLE product I bought comes in handy.

This is the FlipFold!

For someone like myself who SUCKS at folding, this is the best invention ever.  I've seen people use a clipboard or a piece of cardboard to help folding, but I wanted something official and this makes folding tops so EASY.  My mom who happens to be quite good at folding also loves this handy tool because it makes shirts so much tinier, which helps maximize storage space.

Here's the basic video of how to use the Flipfold, but they also have videos showing how to use this to fold towels, pants, collared shirts etc.

Here's my new and improved shirt drawer (tanks, tees and long sleeve tees) all neat and pretty!  Now the key is to keep it this way!

Do you have any go to strategies to keep your wardrobe organized? I'm always looking for tips and tricks!

Fitness Friday: Finding Motivation to Be Healthy

Sometimes the hardest part of something is actually starting or beginning the process!  This statement is especially true when it comes to embarking on a new healthy lifestyle.  Finding the motivation to begin working out or to begin eating healthy (or even to continue with these!) is sometimes tricky.

This summer I have completely fallen off of the healthy bandwagon and I am looking to get back on it, so here's how I've been motivating myself to get back into the healthy swing of things.

* Look for Fitspo online

I love looking at fitspirational images on Instagram and Pinterest.  I follow so many fitspo accounts on Instagram, so every time I look through my feed I find at least 10-15 images or quotes that really get me pumped.  Here are some of my favorite:

I love before and afters!  It's great to see all of these girls with amazing bodies, but it's even more impressive to see that some of them started with bodies just like me.

*Buy Cute Workout Clothes

I find that if I have a cute workout outfit laying on my floor waiting for me, I'm almost forced to put it on and do something active!  Target makes some of the cutest, best performing and cheapest workout clothes out there! Go pick some cute pieces out for yourself!

*Put together a healthy recipe Pinterest board

The more I read about health and weight loss, the more I learn about the importance of diet.  The experts say that weight loss is 80% diet and 20 % fitness.  Even if you aren't trying to lose weight, eating a healthy and well balanced diet is super important for overall good health.

Here's a snapshot of my healthy recipe board!

*Tell your friends and family that you are trying to embark on a healthier lifestyle

I find that if I use the word diet, my friends and family get mad at me since I'm on the smaller side already.  If i have the conversation that I want to be healthier, they seem to jump on board a little bit better.  I also have a friend who I workout with and having a workout buddy is always helpful.  My best friend also texts me progress pictures a lot and that keeps me SUPER motivated.

*Write it down!!

Keeping track of your progress, keeping a food log and exercise log or even writing your goals on places where they can be seen frequently really helps.  When you're reminded that this is something you want for yourself, you're probably a bit more prone to actually make it happen.

Quick Tip Thursday: Save Your Chargers!

This is not a beauty or fashion related quick tip at all, but it is a tip that can help save you some cash and I am all about that life!

If you're anything like me, you abuse your phone charger.  Probably talk on the phone while it's charging which leads to the wire bending or I just yank my phone off of the charger.  This is had led to me going through two iPhone 5 wires.  They usually end up bending at the tip of the cord leading to the wires being exposed and the possibility of me blowing myself up.  I think I saw this tip on Pinterest somewhere and it's brilliant!

Wrap your phone charger wire with washi tape! If you don't have washi tape, you can use regular tape just to reinforce it, but doesn't washi tape make it so much cuter?  Also, if you have several different types of chargers lying around you can use different colored washi tape to help differentiate between them!

Have you jumped on the washi tape bandwagon yet?  If you have, what is your favorite way to use it?

My July Ipsy Bag

So last month I re-signed up for Ipsy, just because I felt like I was missing out.  Well, this July bag sort of proved I wasn't and after receiving it I cancelled Ipsy again.  If I do sign up for another makeup or beauty box it will most likely be a natural or cruelty free one.  So here's what I received in my one and only Ipsy bag of 2014.

*Whet Nail Polish in Facetious*
$15
This polish is three free ( void of harmful chemicals) and cruelty free so I'm loving the brand.  The color itself is beautiful also and it's a color I'll be rocking on my toes shortly.

*Pur-lisse SPF 30 Sunscreen*
$55 for 1.7 oz
I always like having samples of sunscreen to throw in my purse or my beach bag.  I've read that this brand is great for sensitive skin, so I'll be happy to try it out.

*Bare Minerals 5 in 1 BB Cream Eyeshadow in Sweet Spice (I think)*
$18 for .1 oz
This baby tube doesn't have the name on it, but according to the color card I think it's Sweet Spice.  I have heard a lot of hype around these shadows and always love trying out a cream shadow.  I also think it's great that this shadow has SPF 15 in it.

*Pop Beauty Sunkissed Bronzer in Secret Sunshine*
$10
I like Pop Beauty products and their cute packaging, but it's insane how many bronzers I now have in my collection.  I'm going to see if I can swap this on the Ipsy forum.

*Tints and Sass Lip & Cheek Stain by Elizabeth Mott*
$22.99
Another cruelty free company- yay!  I love multi-purpose products and have actually wanted a true red blush for the winter to mimic that just came in out of the cold hue.  I can't wait to play around with this!

The value of this bag is great!  I received $48 worth of full sized products and two generous sample sized products as well.  I love the idea of getting a little makeup surprise every month, but I normally end up using only a few of the things.  Also, now that I'm really dedicated in going cruelty free in my beauty routine I thought my money would be better spent supporting a cruelty free or natural subscription service.

Style Sunday: The Dangers of Wearing Flip Flops

The true sign of warm weather for me is when it's warm enough to wear flip flops.  Flip flops have long been the accepted footwear of summer.  While I love flip flops, I have never been able to wear them for long periods of time.  If I wear flip flops to walk around for a long period of time I know that evening I am going to have leg and ankle pains.

Between flip flops and high heels, can us women and our feet every catch a break??  Here are some of the dangers of flip flops and what we can do to nix the pain.

Image from inbop.com

*Flip flops are too flat for walking around.  Shoes need to provide arch support.

*Due to the fact that flip flops are so open you are at risk of stubbing your toe, bruising your heel or having something land on your foot.

*Flip flop tan lines used to be the sign of summer to me, but more and more cases of skin cancer are appearing on people's feet because people tend to forget to lather them up with sunscreen.

*More open footwear leads to more insect bites.

Now, here I am bashing flip flops, but every time I'm just running to the store, walking to the beach or pool or hanging outside without doing a lot of walking I wear flip flops.  However, to ward off long term pains to my ankles and legs I always wear my sneakers or Crocs (yes you are allowed to make fun!) when I know I'm going to be doing a decent amount of walking.

If you are going to be walking more than just to the car or around a store, I recommend looking for a sandal that has arch support or some extra padding to absorb the shock of your footsteps.

Am I the only one who suffers from ankle or leg pain when rocking my flops for too long?  Any tips for pampering my tootsies?

Fitness Friday: My First Bulu Box

A month or so ago I ordered a Living Social deal for a 3 month subscription to Bulu Box.  Bulu Box is a monthly subscription box targeted at weight loss, health and fitness.  It typically costs $10 a month so for half the price, I snatched up the 3 month deal.  I received my first box this week.  Here's what I got and my take on this month's box.

*FitFusion.Com 2 Week Trial Period
Fit Fusion is a fitness site with "unlimited workouts from top fitness experts."  It appears to be a site full of fitness DVD workouts.  For only $5.99 a month it seems like a great deal depending on how good the workouts are and the variety!

*Voucher for Nakedwines.com ($100 of $160)
Unless I'm having a massive party, I don't see the need of buying $160 worth of wine.  Plus, I have no idea how this is weight loss related!

*Shapeology Burn Blend Samples
This is a fat burning pill and those usually terrify me.  This pill says it mimics the effects of a high metabolism.  I'm going to try it, what the heck!

*Pur-Absorb Iron
This is the second time I've received these in a "health box".  I wish there was more variety amongst these different companies of boxes.  Anyway, this is basically iron water.  I'm normally low on iron though, so I don't mind getting these.

*Rutaseomn Natural Sleep Aid
I am always looking for a natural sleep aid, since melatonin never works for me.  This pill is interesting because it says it removes the caffeine from your system to help ease you into sleep.  As a coffee and soda lover, this pill sounds great!

*Rescue Pearls Stress Relief
Yet again, this is a dupe from another health box I've received.  I haven't used them yet, but I do like the idea of a natural stress reliever pill as I do tend to get anxious.

*Revolution Southern Mint Herbal Tea
I am really, really trying to get into tea!  This mint tea says that it can aid in digestion and soothing headaches.  Both of which I suffer from so I'm happy to try this.

*Chosen Foods MetaPowder
This is one of those add to water drink packets.  It says this drink can help support a healthy immune system and improve metabolism.  As someone who has a horrible immune system and mediocre metabolism, I will be trying this as well!

Review:

For my first Bulu Box, I'm not thrown away by it.  There are two products that I received in other health boxes and the sample sizes are rather small compared to other boxes.  However, the products that I did receive I will be trying so I guess that is a success.  I usually tend to giveaway a product or two from most of my subscription boxes.

Do you subscribe to the Bulu Box? Any health or weight loss subscription services that you recommend?

Current Empties: July 2014

I didn't think I had enough empties to do an empties post until I went to go throw something in my bag and noticed it completely full!

Let's look through my trash, shall we?
♥ Skin Care

Yes to Cucumbers Facial Wipes
Love these! Have already repurchased and will continue to do so.  The scent is fresh and yummy and they don't burn my eyes when I wake off my eye makeup.  These don't take everything off, but I have yet to find a wipe that does.

Yes to Grapefruits Wipes
I'm glad I only had these in the sample size, because I don't care for them as much as the cucumber wipes.  The grapefruit scent burns a little and I just don't care for the formula.  I won't be repurchasing this.

Yes to Grapefruit Correct & Repair Dark Circle Eye Cream
This eye cream wasn't a hit, but it wasn't really a miss for me either.  I didn't notice any lightening in my under eye circles, but it did leave them feeling moisturized and my makeup applied nicely over this.  I'm on the hunt for a new and more natural eye cream though, so I probably won't be repurchasing.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
I've had this little sample size of this forever and just leave it in my travel bag for when I take trips.  It does a nice job of taking off heavy eye makeup, but even after using this thoroughly, I still sometimes have some left over liner or mascara the next day.  I won't be repurchasing this.

Skyn Iceland Eye Gels
My friend ordered a box of these from Ulta and gave me one set.  I popped them on the fridge and placed them under my eyes on a particularly stressful day.  I loved the feel of them and while my under eye skin felt smoother underneath, I didn't see any noticeable brightening effect.  I love eye gels, but these are a bit pricey so I won't be repurchasing these particular ones.

♥  Hair Care

Samy Fat Hair Hair Spray
If you are going to tease your hair and need it to stay, this is the hairspray to use.  My best friend Ally is the queen of the tease, and this is the only hairspray she will use.

Lush Big Shampoo
This is my favorite clarifying or deep clean shampoo.  I've repurchased this before and a new one is in my shower already!

♥  Makeup

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara
This was my first time trying this mascara after seeing a lot of hype about it on Youtube.  I'm so glad I tried it!  I love it!  The formula is amazing and something about it makes my eyes pop under my glasses, which is hard to do.  If you are looking for a great cruelty free drugstore mascara, look no further!  I already have a backup in my collection.

It Cosmetics Brow Power Pencil
I think I may have received this in a QVC BeautyTube way back when.  It's an amazing brow pencil and I love how thin it is, but I can't justify spending so much on a brow product so I most likely won't be repurchasing.

ELF Makeup Remover Pen
If you have never tried one of these babies, you have to!  This is the best product to keep in your bag to clean up any makeup smudges on the go.  I have already repurchased another one!

♥  Body Care

Wet Wipes
My friend Lori gave me these in my Christmas present, and I don't know where they are from but the packaging alone is worth it!  I used these to wipe down after working out or even wipe off my weights when I sweated all over them.  If I find them again, I will be repurchasing.

The Body Shop Dreams Unlimited Body Butter
My dad got me this as a stocking stuffer, and while the formula moisturizes superbly, I didn't love the scent.  Plus, there are so many more natural body butters out there that I would rather try one of those.  I won't be repurchasing.

Fortune Cookie Soap Native Nectar Body Wash
I received this in my summer Fortune Cookie Soap Box and it was LOVE!  It smelled heavenly and lathered nicely.  I'm debating on purchasing this in the full size, but I have so many body washes to go through it's insane.

Healthy Peppermint Foot Mask
I think I bought this at the Mitsuwa Market when I went with Tammy and Vanessa last summer.  I need to stock up on these because it felt so refreshing to have these on my tired and battered summer feet.  I will be repurchasing!

♥  Misc.

Swispers Cotton Rounds
I bought a 3 pack of these cotton rounds from Harmon, and they are my favorite.  Yes, I understand it's weird to have a favorite cotton round, but these are them.  They don't fall apart or leave fuzzy residue all over.  I will be repurchasing@

BBW Sugared Vanilla Wish Soap
I love any of the BBW's vanilla scents and this one is no exception.  I'm not one who uses seasonal soaps during the appropriate season, hence why this is in my July empties.  When Christmas time comes around, I will be repurchasing this scent.

BBW Halloween Candy Apple Soap
I like using fruit scented soaps in the kitchen and this one smelled a bit too sticky sweet for my liking. I will not be repurchasing this scent.

BBW Paris Daydream Candle
It's no secret that I love the candles from Bath and Body Works.  This one was no exception.  If you love a more manly scent, this one is perfect.  I have so many other scents from them I want to try, but I will most likely be repurchasing this baby.

Lucky Vitamin One Daily Energy Vitamin
I bought this from Luckyvitamin.com and only tried a few vitamins, so this isn't technically an empty.  I always have my vitamins after a meal and no matter what time of day I tried this vitamin, it made my stomach seriously upset.  So no, I will not be repurchasing!

What products have you been reaching for lately?  Have you tried any of the products I've loved or hated?

Style Sunday: My Favorite Places To Buy Faux Jewelry

I love jewelry.  When I look into my jewelry armoire it makes me happy to be a girl.  Jewelry can add so much to an outfit in such a fun way.  Accessorizing doesn't have to be expensive.

Here are my favorite places to buy cheapo jewelry:

Forever 21

Image from Style.mtv.com

As someone who is almost 30 (OMG!), there's not a whole lot that I can buy from Forever 21.  One thing I can buy, and do buy, is their jewelry.  Most of their pieces are under $15 and they do statement jewelry amazingly!

Charming Charlie

Image from Sierraus.com

I first learned of Charming Charlie when one opened by me a few years ago.  It was love at first sight!  It's an entire store of accessories and it's organized by color!  They not only have jewelry, but shoes, hates, scarves, bags and some clothing items.  If you need a piece of jewelry in a specific color, this is the place to go!

Etsy.com

If you buy a piece of jewelry from Etsy, more likely than not, you will be the only person in your crew with that piece.  Expect to pay a bit more than Forever or Charming Charlie due to the fact that people are creating these pieces by hand.  I recommend looking on Etsy for something specific or you may be overwhelmed by the choices.

Jane.com

I've reviewed Jane.com before here.  This is a daily sale site that specializes in "cutesy items".  Most of their daily sales include several pieces of jewelry and usually include monogrammed jewelry as well.

Where are your favorite places to buy cheapo jewelry?  I'm always looking for new stores or sites!

Fitness Friday: Soul Cycle Review

I love exercises classes.  Going to the gym and running on the treadmill or hitting the weights is just incredibly boring to me.  I need a class or a routine to keep me going.  This is the reason why I tend to mainly workout to exercise DVD's.

A couple months back my friend Nicole introduced me to Soulcycle.  If you live in or close to a big city or any "ritzy" area you have probably heard of SoulCycle.

Image from Nadinejoelle.com

Soul is basically a spinning class on crack.  It's a killer cardio workout and toning workout for your lower half.  Oh, did I mention there's an insane upper body portion as well?  Soul uses not only the bike handles to incorporate upper body toning, but the use of light weights.  Lifting weights while cycling is not as easy as it may sound to some.

Soul is also different than a typical spin class because of the bikes.  The bikes require you to wear special shoes that click into the pedals.  This makes it feel a bit awkward at first, but makes you feel more secure in standing and pedaling on your bike. So it's nice that it doesn't require you to wear or buy special shoes.

One of my favorite parts of Soulcycle is the environment of the studio.  The whole place smells like eucalyptus and the decor is calm and soothing.  The cycling studio itself also smells delicious and the lights are kept dim with candles providing light and scent.  The music keeps you going and keeps you singing along.

Now on to the actual workout part.  I wouldn't recommend this to someone brand new to working out.  This workout is intense!  The first time I tried this workout was when I was doing T25 every day.  I wasn't in perfect shape, but I was in decent shape.  Even being in ok shape, this workout kicked my ass.  There were times when I had to sit down and cycle when the rest of the class was standing or had to cut down on the amount of push ups using the handlebars.

Image from Vanity Fair

Now on to the downside and it's a HUGE downside.  The price!  A single class costs as much as monthly memberships to some gyms.  A single class, a single 45 minute class costs $34.  The more you buy, the less each class costs, but it's still a hefty investment.

I really enjoyed my Soulcycling, but I'm going to use it as monthly fitness treat to myself.  It's just way too expensive for a normal person to use this as their only source of exercise.

Have you ever been to a SoulCycle class?  Can you justify spending so much on fitness?

Quick Tip: Sanitizing Eyeliners

The quickest and easiest way to sanitize your pencil liners? Sharpen them!  Sharpening the pencil removes the last used layer and reveals a brand new one.  You don't have to do this every time, because you'll be using up tons of product.  However, I would sharpen your pencil prior to every use in the waterline to bay off any nasty infections.

DIY Cheap Frame/Decor Revamp

I have recently become addicted to fashion prints and illustrations.  They can be printed from the internet for free, or purchased on Etsy by incredibly talented artists.

A few months ago I bought 2 beautiful prints from Melsy's Illustrations from Etsy.

I bought two frames from Ikea, and while they were cute, they just weren't cute enough for what I had in mind.  I wanted a Tiffany blue mat to go in the frame.  Turns out they don't make them and it costs an arm and a leg to get them custom made.  I had an idea….

I bought same paint and 16 of these sponge things for a $1 and painted the mat in the frame.  I am SO in love with the end result!

How amazing do these look?  The colored frame just makes these images pop so much more.  I tried using a paintbrush first, and it came out too streaky, but the sponge painters worked amazingly.  I can't wait to get the proper hardware to hang these beauties up!

Style Sunday: Caring For Your Bathing Suits

Earlier this week was my first time in a bathing suit for summer 2014.  I usually buy one or two new bathing suits a year and rotate these in and out with a few bathing suits I own from previous years.

Bathing suits are like bras, they need to be cared for a bit more gently then our regular clothing.  Here are some tips and tricks to keep your bathing suits in primal condition!

✺ If possible, rinse before putting a bathing suit on.  A common culprit of bathing suit "decay" is body oils and odors, so rinsing prior to putting a suit on can help cut down on these.

✺ Try to do a large majority of your sunbathing prior to getting your suit wet.  A wet bathing suit drying in the sun leads to fading.

✺  If possible, rinse your bathing suit in cold tap water after hitting the pool or the waves.  A bottle of water can work also.

✺ If you're changing at the beach or pool, don't throw your damp bathing suit in a plastic bag- this can lead to mildew growth.  Try one of those cute bathing suit storage bags made out of towel material, or poke holes in a plastic bag so some dampness can drain out.

✺  Try to avoid washing your suit in a washing machine after every wash.  Try hand washing in your sink with detergent formulated for delicates or even mild hand soap.

✺ If you must wash your bathing suit in a washing machine, try to hold off on every 4-5 wears and throw it in a delicates washing bag or even a pillowcase.

✺ Never, never throw your suit in the dryer.  The material isn't formulated to be heated that much and it can quickly lose its shape.

✺ Never, ever wring out your bathing suit to dry either.  From what I've read, it's recommended to lay a bathing suit flat between two tools, gently roll out the moisture and then dry flatly somewhere.

✺ Rotate your suits, especially the bottoms!  We all have a favorite bathing suit, but try not to wear the same one every time to give each suit a break.

✺ Finally, ROCK IT!  We wait all summer to hit up the beach or the pool, even if you didn't lose those 10 pounds like you wanted or haven't perfected your tan, you better rock that bathing suit, for it'll be winter again before we know it!

Quick Tip: Polish Remover Double Duty

This is a tip that will most likely seem pretty obvious, but it's a tip I use on the regular so I thought I would share.

I love using the nail polish remover jars with the sponges in them, however sometimes they dry out so quickly.  Instead of buying a new one, just add a decent amount of your favorite bottled nail polish remover to the jar and let sit for a bit.  It's like new and removes your polish super easily!

June Random Favorites

Every month I like to include non-beauty products that I have been reaching for as well.  Here are the "rando" things I've been loving for June!

Journaling
I used to write in a "Dear Diary" type of journal for years.  Then it fell of for a bit.  As I've recently become addicted to the world of Filofaxing and paper crafting my love for journaling has reemerged.  I haven't gotten back into the "dear diary" swing of things yet, but instead every day I write my pit, crappiest moment of the day, and my peak, my best moment of the day.  It helps me to find that more often than not my peaks outweigh my pits.

M necklace
I ordered this M necklace from Jane.com and I'm obsessed! I think it was under $10 and if I see them become available again I'll definitely post about it.

Fortune Cookie Soap Smack Lip Scrub
I've tried a lot of lip scrubs in my day and this one is by far my favorite.  It tastes and smells amazing and it is supper effective at getting rid of any dry or dead skin.

Thanks to my obsession with all things paper, I have been watching a lot of Filofax and journaling videos.  Mae is a perfect combo my girl loves of paper goods, make up and fashion.  Her tutorials and reviews are awesome and she's so bubbly!

What non-beauty items or "rando" things were you reaching for during June?
