Kushyfoot Products

I love flats. I wear them to work pretty much every day. There are a few things however, that I do not like about flats.

1: Sometimes they are so flat that the balls of my feet hurt.
2: Sometimes the material is so stiff in the heel that it cuts into my ankles. No bueno!
3: They make feet STANK!!!

I love to wear those little foot covers when I wear flats. It's so bad, but I call them foot condoms lol. I especially love wearing Kushyfoot foot covers. They have this little pad by the balls of your feet so it provides a little extra cushioning.

They recently came out with lace foot covers and standard dress socks.

I really think the lace foot covers are a cute idea. They just peak out of the sides of a flat and add a little extra visual detail that otherwise may be overlooked.

Extra padding by ball of feet:

The extra padding is a really great feature in these little babies. If you wear super flats they aren't going to save your feet from feeling any discomfort, but they definitely help! They also help with stinky feet. I throw some foot powder in them before putting my shoes on and it's MUCH better.

The one thing these don't help out with though, is the shoes cutting into the back of my heel. These babies don't come up far enough in the back.

The standard dress socks claim to have a massaging effect. I've been on vacation from work so haven't had the opportunity to test these babies out yet, but I will definitely do a mini review on them soon.

MiNi GiVeAwAyYyY!!

I was sent a pink pair of these socks and there is no color out there that I loathe more than pink, so I decided to do a little giveaway. I threw a pair of silver Flats To Go (sizes5-6, can fit up to size 7) and a Bath and Body Works Scent Portable in Fresh Linen to the pack.

How to Enter:
1: Must be a subscriber to my blog.
2: Leave me a comment giving me your tips on how to avoid blisters and cuts on the back of my heels. I'm willing to try anything!
3; Bonus entry for blogging about the contest (leave me a link in a seperate comment from the first one)
4: All entries must be received by May 1st.

FTC Disclosure: The Kushyfoot products were sent to me for consideration. I was not paid for my opinion and my opinion is my own!

What's in my Purse

I've seen TONS of these videos on YT, so I decided to do one in a blog post.

The bag:

I LoOooOOVe this purse! I got it for an amazing price at the Coach outlet over the winter. It has the shoulder straps and a longer strap to wear it across the body. It's a pretty big size, but the bag itself isn't heavy, which I appreciate.

The innards:

From L to R:

Tissues- Just got over a sinus infection and it's allergy season!
4 purple pens- WHY? Why do I need 4 purple pens all from a gym that I don't belong to? LoL
Day planner- This is chock full of stuff yet I hardly ever look at it. Definitely need to work on that.
Flats to Go- I hardly ever wear heels to work, but I do wear a ton of flats and I swear sometimes those suckers cut into the back of my ankle. I throw these on to walk around the classroom a bit. I had a silver pair, but these babies are new. They look like slippers but they give my bloody ankles a break.
2 hair clips- Who needs two hair clips? Apparently I do.

From L to R:

Prescription sunnies- These were cheap and they have chew marks from the dog on the arms, but they are my current prescription so they work.
Coach wallet- This bright blue baby was a Christmas gift from my Daddyo. I like bright or patterned wallets so they are easier to find in my bag.
Coach Rollerball Perfume in Poppy- This is for my scent touch-ups throughout the day.
Crest Wisp- These little brush-em thingies are perfect for keeping breath kissable.
Scratch off- I hope I get lucky!

From L to R:

A random barette for my bangs
House keys with every key tag for stores imaginable
Excedrin Migraine- If you ever get migraines, Excedrin migraine is the best OTC medication for it.
Sudafed- Damn allergies!
Car keys with a Mets keychain
Single piece of gum

From L to R:

Freebie Sonia Kashuk-Thanks Target!
ELF Blotting Papers- Love these $1 babies!
BBW Pocket Bac in Peppermint- I have sooo much anti-bacterial it's crazy
Johnson and Johnson Lavender Stress Relief Hand Lotion
Mark Cosmetics Anti-Blemish Concealer- I use this for mid-day touchups
Jordana Lip Gloss in Random Color- the color wore off, but this just adds a glittery sheen to my lips
BBW Liplicious Lip Color in Brown Sugar- This gives a nice brown-ish sheen to lips for a neutral look
L'Oreal Bare Naturale Lip Color in Soft Pink
NYC Lipglider Lipgloss in Plaza Pink

I have WAY too many lip glosses in my bag and I really only use the Jordana one at work. I need to work on that!

I'd love to see what some of you gals have in your bags. If you do a post or video, please leave it in a comment below!

Tag- 11 Most Reached for Items

I've seen this tag going around Youtube, so I decided to do it myself!!

1. Simple hair clip- I love these basic, boring clips. It's perfect to just pull my hair back and get it out of the way. I honestly rely on these too much.

2. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Serum- I use this is my damp hair every single time I wash it. Honestly, at this point I don't know if it does anything but I'm so used to using it, that I just can't stop until I run out!

NYC Bronzer in Sunny- This is a FANTASTIC every day bronzer. It's matte and isn't too dark for my super light skin. I use this for all-over color and for contouring.

Physicians Formula Mood Booster Blush in Natural- Ever since I received this from my Tammy-ness, I've used it almost every day. It provides the most gorgeous color and glow. A little bit of this goes a long way.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation in Buff- This is my ultimate every day foundation. It provides dewy coverage and never accentuates my dry skin.

NYX Shadow Pencil in Cottage Cheese- This is my every day base for my neutral eye looks. I apply it with a brush tough because if I apply it directly to the lid it creases easily.

Almay Liner in Raisin Quartz- This is the liner I reach for most for my work looks. It's a soft brown and doesn't budge.

Wet n Wild Brow Liner in Taupe- This is AMAZING for my brows and is only 99 cents!

Coach Poppy perfume- I don't own many other perfumes, but this is by far my favorite! It's a sweet but not super floral scent.

Lush Sweet Lips Lip Scrub- Honestly, this product is pointless. It's the same as putting sugar on your lips and scrubbing it off with a damn wash cloth. However, since I have it, I use it almost every day since my lips can get yuccka.

Bath and Body Works Vanilla Noir Body Cream- I love anything scented vanilla, and this scent is very rich. It's also super moisturizing, so I use this at night or when I get out of the shower.

I tag- EVERYONE! I'd love to see what people use every day.

April Birchbox

This is by far my favorite Birchbox to date!! This month, being Earth month, it was an earth themed box. I really adore all of these products and really feel like the sizes of this month's products were WELL worth the $10.

From L to R, Top to Bottom:

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength- I really want to try this peel, but it says full strength and my skin is super sensitive. It says can cause tingling and tightness, which makes me even more nervous! If anyone has tried this, please let me know if it is ok to use on sensitive skin!

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer- I love these little sizes. Perfect for travel!

Zoya polish in Jules- my first Zoya polish!

LIV GRN C2C Fragrance- This smells very earthy, yet crispy. These sample sizes are perfect for travel due to liquid restrictions.

Lavanilla in Lavender Vanilla- O-M-G! This stuff smells awesome! It's also not overly scented, so I think this lotion would provide the perfect base for any fragrance. This sample size is HUGE!

If you haven't yet signed up for Birchbox, I seriously recommend you do!

Day 5- My Favorite Thing to Do

My favorite thing to do is just lounge. How boring right? My job is continually becoming more and more stressful with budget cuts and there is nothing I look forward to more to coming home, putting on a pair of sweats (or with today's 80 degree weather, shorts) putting on the tv and curling up with a book. Now that it's getting warmer, I love a good walk outside, but for now I will say being an absolute BUM!

Prettying up my Workspace

I love Michaels. I haven't scrapbooked in like over a year, but I still go to Michael's several times a month just to browse around. It doesn't help that it's right down the street from me!

I rarely look at the tiny home decor section, but I did this time and I was quite happy with my small purchases to pretty up my make up space.

Bird Jar- $3

I bought this cute little jar to keep my tiny NYX Single Shadow collection in. I also have a single, WnW single in there.

Little Ceramic Planter- $4

I bought this to keep my eyeliners, single lipliner and cream shadow sticks in. I really love this little planter and might get more to start an actual herb garden in.

Parisian Tealight Holder- $6

I love this for a brush holder! I bought a little package of broken shells as the filler, but it's rather tall so I just rest my brushes randomly instead of standing them up the shells. I think this makes my brush holder look a bit classier.

The Michael's home decor section is 40-50% off pretty much every week. So if you need some things to pretty up any area of your home or your office, I definitely recommend checking it out!
