Weekend Haulage

I wanted to post my haul from this weekend right away, in case anyone wants to snag up these great deals. It seemed like every one of my stores in the mall was having a major sale. I scored some fantastic deals this weekend!

Victoria's Secret

♥Mets yoga pants (Beyond adore these!!!)- $20 (this was the only Pink sports item that was on sale at my store)
♥Beauty Rush Eyeshadows in Plum Crazy and Glamerald- $1.75 each
♥Beauty Rush Sparkleliner in Starstruck- $1.75
♥Beauty Rush lipstick in Grape Fruity- $1.75

I need to pick up some bras too, but I like to go bra shopping during the week since the store isn't so crazy.

Bath & Body Works

From L to R:
♥Slatkin & Co Candle in Sparkling Mojito- $4.75
♥Signature Vanilla's Fragrance Mist in Vanilla/Apricot- $3.00
♥Signature Vanilla's Body Cream in Vanilla/Coconut- $3.00
♥Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray (purse size)- $2.50

I've never tried the Signature Vanilla collection before and I am in love! I liked the combo of the Vanilla Coconut and Vanilla Apricot scents together. I can't believe it's taken me so long to buy one of these products. This is also my first Slatkin & Co candle. I've heard many Youtubers rave about it before, so I had to give it a whirl. I picked up Sparkling Mojito because I was looking for a really summery scent.

Old Navy

♥Tie Front Shorts- $12.50

I wanted a pair of "dressier" shorts and these fit the bill. Does anyone find that Old Navy sizes are getting bigger? These are a size 2 and they were big on me, but I kind of like the baggier effect.

I also bought a pair of white shorts, but I brought them home and found a big black mark on the bottom. Those babies are going back!

♥Black romper- $15.99
Why didn't I pick this up in more colors? It's sooo cute! The picture doesn't show the cute ruffle detail on the neckline. I adore that this has pockets!

♥Blue bra tank- $11.99
I really adore the fit of this tank, and I love the built in bra. I may go back and pick this up in a few colors as well.

♥Black off the shoulder tee- $11.99
I love the blousy fit of this top. It's good for those days when I'm not in the mood to wear something tight. The only thing I don't love is the way it fits around the boobs. Oh well, I still think it's a keeper! If you go out and snag any of these deals please let me know!

Wedding OOTD

A few weekends ago I went to my college roomie Amanda's wedding. It's crazy that all of my friends are getting married within the next year or so. It reminds me of that time in high school when I had a Sweet 16 almost every weekend. Now it's weddings!

The ceremony was at a park on a lake and the reception was at a hotel nearby. My roomie is very casual and beachy so I wanted a more summer type dress even though the wedding was an evening wedding.

Dress: TJ Maxx ($25)
Black heels: Burlington Coat Factory ($15)
Purse: Kate Spade Outlet
Long necklace: Lia Sophia
Short necklace: Tiffany & Co
Earrings: NY & Co
Bracelet: Lia Sophia

Thanks for stopping by!

CVS Clearance Haul

So I've been reading a lot about the CVS Beauty Clearance that has been going on. I really want to cut down on my spending, but there are some deals that just can't be passed up. I knew that my CVS rarely marks any clearance items, so I was prepared! I had this extensive link up on my phone from Noveau Cheap. If you don't read her blog, you need too! She knows EVERYTHING about drugstore beauty products and of course their awesome sales!

Anyway, if you go to your CVS and don't see any products marked, use the list linked above, bring some of the products to the red scanner box and see if they scan up on clearance. All of my products did, except one Revlon mascara, which I put back.

On to the haulage:

Quit small, but all products I am super psyched about trying!

From L to R:
Almay One Coat Dial Up Mascara in Blackest Black Regular price: $8.49 Sale price: $2.12
Almay Brightening Concealer and Eye Base in Light Regular price: $9.89 Sale price: $2.47
Revlon ColorStay Mineral Lipglaze in Continuous Coral Regular price: 10.49 Sale price: 2.62
Revlon Colorstay Mineral Finishing Powder in Brighten Regular price: $14.79 Sale price: $3.69
Revlon ColorStay Mineral Finishing Powder in Sunkiss :prices same as Brighten:

All in all I am super happy with my haul. I've tried all of the products except the mascara and they are all fantastic. My favorite is the Mineral Lipglaze. I wore it to a wedding over the weekend and is probably the only colorful lipcolor I am comfortable in so far.

If anyone grabs any other deals from the CVS clearance sale, please let me know!

Current Faves (April & May)

Hey lovelies. These are the products I find myself reaching for quite consistently. They are pretty boring, but VERY useful and effective.

♥Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Living Doll- Even though this is a blush, I have been using this as an all over eye color. It is just too damn hot for me to spend so much time doing my eye make up for work. I use use this all over the lid and up in to the crease, pop on some mascara, and I'm good to go!

♥NYC Bronzer in Sunny- Perfect matte bronzer for an all over face color. I use this all over my face to bronze up the entire area.

♥Lorac Tantalizer Baked Bronzer- I got this as a sample from Sephora like last summer and have just recently started using and have fallen in love! This I use over the NYC bronzer in the 3-E shape on my face to give my skin some glow. Not too shimmery and definitely no sparkle, just a lovely sheen.

♥I am SUPER SUPER pale and I really like to get a bit of a tan in the summer, but do nothing but burn in the sun. I don't really like a lot of the results I get from self tanners, but some of the gradual self tanners are too dull for me. So, I improvise. I use one part of Sublime L'Oreal Bronze in Light/Medium and two parts B&BW Vanilla Noir Body Cream and create my own gradual tanner. I apply this to my arms and legs two to three nights in a row and end up with the perfect, subtle, natural tan!

♥On my face I have been love, love, LOVING the Trader Joe's Regenerating Antioxidant Moisturizing Face Lotion. I have been using this actually day and night and it gives my dry skin much needed moisture and doesn't get me too oily during the day. It smells a little bit like orange medicine, which isn't the best, but it is only around $5 at your local Trader Joe's and is AMAZING! It is certified organic and contains vitamin C, however it doesn't have sunscreen in it so be careful! I really recommend this for those with dry or combo skin.

♥Coupons- thanks to Extreme Couponers and, I too have jumped on the couponing craze. I just hafto get my lazy butt in gear and make a coupon binder like so many of my fab other bloggers have done.

♥Bobby Pins- The past week or so has been DISGUSTINGLY hot in New York. The last thing I want is my bangs sticking to my forehead, so I have been twisting them back off my face and bobby bins have been a God-send!

Please let me know if you try out any of these products, or if you know of any other great products I should be trying!
